Group Leaders must be prepared to be the best big brothers and big sisters they can be. Reporting directly to and working closely with the Camp Director, our Group Leaders are the backbone of the camp, overseeing the counselor staff and directly engaged with the day-to-day life of the campers.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY

To supervise approximately 30-40 campers and 20 counselors through day-to-day camp life

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• At least three years of overnight camp experience in a camper-facing role
• Ability to relate to campers ranging from 6-16
• Ability to supervise staff and manage schedules
• Ability to relate to one’s peer group
• Ability to speak with and communicate effectively with parents
• Ability to accept guidance and supervision
• Good character, integrity and ability to adapt to camp setting
• Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience and self-control
• BS or BA in Education a plus
