Camp Wicosuta is a traditional sleepaway camp for girls in Hebron, New Hampshire. Each summer we run two distinct camp sessions, each hosting approximately 300 campers and 170 staff members. At Camp Wicosuta, our 3 Cs philosophy (confidence, competence, and community) is part of everything we do! We offer activities in the areas of athletics, aquatics (pool and waterfront), creative arts, performing arts, environment education, and more. Our staff members can be role models for children, spend the summer outdoors, enjoy fun activities and build great friendships.
The Landsports Activity Head (AH) at Camp Wicosuta is a member of the Leadership Team and holds the responsibility of directly supervising the athletics staff. The Landsports AH is responsible for all aspects of our landsports program, including but not limited to curriculum development, staff scheduling, and department maintenance. Our athletics program includes instruction of volleyball, basketball, lacrosse, soccer, softball, track and field, archery, and field hockey. This individual works with and coaches campers between the ages of 7 and 15 with various athletic abilities and skills. They also supervisor our counselors/coaches who are college aged women between the ages of 18-24.
