With its 2024 Grand Opening, Firefall Ranch proudly joins its long-established sister properties. While brand new, Firefall has historic Yosemite roots, as the Ranch once served as a stop on the original stagecoach route to the Park in the 1870’s.

Firefall sits on 300 sprawling acres of meadowland and Sierra foothills along Yosemite’s Hwy 120 West corridor.  With 55 standalone Cottages and Villas spread throughout the property, there is plenty of space for guests to enjoy an elegant, private getaway in pristine natural surroundings.

Firefall Ranch is owned and was built by long-time local contractor Robert Boyer in partnership with the Chicken Ranch Rancheria of Me-Wuk Indians of California. Boyer was also instrumental in expanding Evergreen and building Rush Creek.

Line Cook - $19.00/hour

Server -  $16.00/hour plus tips

Server Assistant -  $16.00/hour plus tips

Housekeeper - $18.00/hour

The Employee Experience

Firefall Ranch will be a special place to work, just as it will be special place for our guests. We are committed to creating a supportive environment and a rewarding work experience for our staff. While we have high expectations of staff, successful staff members love working at the Lodges and don't want to leave.

Firefall Ranch and its sister properties, Rush Creek Lodge and Evergreen Lodge, provide great career opportunities for talented staff and managers. Since the lodges have a significant recreational focus, we seek staff and managers who are excited about the outdoors and lead a healthy, active lifestyle.

In addition to its primary function as a tourist resort, Firefall Ranch will run an employment program in which young adults ages 18-24 join our staff for a program of career-oriented training and work experience coupled with exposure to a rich set of outdoor and recreational life experiences. With this in mind, we look to hire experienced staff who are excited to support and serve as role models for those in our program.

Room and Board

Room & Board (including rent, utilities, staff meals, laundry, Wifi, access to resort amenities, and more) is provided for a fixed weekly fee.

Employee Perks

Firefall Ranch and the Lodges are some of the first resorts of their size to offer medical and dental benefits for management staff as well as hourly staff.

Our staff are able to utilize most of the guests services and a very discounted rate or free of charge including the pool and guided hikes and tours. In addition to all the amazing activities employees can utilize and participate in, we also have an Employee Wellness Program. The Wellness team works very hard to create healthy activities and build on our positive community. They are busy creating different trips, events, arts & crafts, and organized sports. Another option this program provides are weekly town trips to nearby Sonora, CA.

It offers the country’s highest waterfalls and largest granite walls, along with stunning scenery and a diverse set of activities, elevations and topographies.
