  • Operate an organic kitchen & cut flower garden: planting, weeding, cultivating, harvesting, and transplanting plants.
  • Preparing planting beds by weeding, fertilizing, composting and watering.
  • Maintaining garden walkways.
  • Other light outdoor maintenance around the exterior of Inn. 
  • Follow garden plan to provide products to Chef for kitchen and cut flowers for Housekeeper.
  • Propagate, cultivate, and harvest horticultural specialties, such as  flowers, greens, vegetables and other edible or flowering plants.
  • Also general groundskeeping on business-related properties (Employee Housing). 
  • May be combined with other duties to achieve 40 hours per work week. 
  • May be considered for leading tours of up to 25 people in the garden.  (Early morning averaging 25 hours per week) 
  • Exact jobs to be filled will be specified in job offer; the preponderance of work will be in the garden. 
  • Job operates May through mid August; season can be extended with other job duties until about 27 September.
