Summer Jobs in Shenandoah National Park

ARAMARK Parks and Destinations is the licensed concessioner in Shenandoah National Park. We operate the lodges, dining facilities, craft and gift shops, campstores, gas stations, and stables throughout the park.

Location - Shenandoah National Park is located in northern Virginia approximately 100 miles southwest of Washington, D.C. The Skyline Drive runs through the middle of the park and connects at its south end to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The northern end of the park begins at Front Royal, Virginia and runs 105 miles to the southern tip in Waynesboro, Virginia. The park is a mountain area with many scenic overlooks of the Shenandoah Valley and the Blue Ridge Mountains and offers hiking, backpacking, camping, birding, picnicking, nature walks, ranger interpretive programs, etc.

Room and Board

Limited amount of housing is available, dormitory style with a shared bath or individual rooms with bath. Cost is $20 per room, per week for shared. Children and pets are not permitted in employee housing.

We have a special employee meal program ranging in price from $3.00 - $6.00.

Transportation Info

You are responsible for your own transportation to the park. The closest airport is Washington Dulles. The closest bus station is Charlottesville, VA. The closest Amtrak station is in Culpeper, VA.
