We are just a few miles from the Smoky Mountain National Parks peaceful side entrance.
Camp Info
We are hiring for Work Camper positions. Campsites will include the following; partly shady level gravel pad, picnic table, firepit, septic, water, and 30/50 amp electric hookup. Wifi/Cable, laundry, and shower house are not included. The camper area does have adequate cellular signal and the laundry mat is approximately ¼ mile from the site. Restrooms and trash containers available across the street from the campsite. Camper, RV, or vans are not provided by the employer and must be provided by the employee/work camper. Campers must provide their own transportation to Burger Master which is approximately 1 mile from the campsite.
Season & Position Info
River Rat Tubing season runs May - Labor Day, some flexibility available for candidates seeking a shorter or longer contract. Burger Master season runs March - Early November, some flexibility available for candidates seeking a shorter contract there as well. Applicants will be expected to work at both locations.
No previous experience required for these positions, but previous experience could assist in more pay per hourly rate. These positions are front facing with a lot of customer interaction. Successful applicants will receive appropriate training (depending on interest & experience).

River Rat Duties
The Customer Service and Reservationist positions support our operational sales and check-in. Answering phone calls, responding to emails, checking in guests, booking reservations, assisting with inventory in the retail shops, and assisting the management team with day-to-day tasks.
The Driver, Tunnel Guard, and River staff will help coordinate outside operations by shuttling guests, assisting guests with rental equipment, staging and inspecting equipment, assisting guests out of the river, and following all safety protocols. Driver’s must have a clean record and valid license.
Open to close hours are from 9am-8pm. Various shift times depending on position, 5 days a week, 35-40 hours weekly mid-May to Labor Day.
Burger Master Duties
Customer Service Front Line will service customers by taking orders, running the front windows, register, and making ice cream including cones, sundaes, shakes, flurries and novelties. We strive for excellent customer service and a hospitable dining environment.
Line Cooks will be in charge of but not limited to food preparation, cooking and bagging the orders, and maintaining proper food safety. Cooking includes using a grill, toaster for buns, fryers, and temperature control of other warmers for ready to eat foods.
Shift ranges: Vary from 10am - 11pm(Close) according to seasonal schedule.
