Description: Join our sales team, driving the daily operation of our store. Prioritizing customer satisfaction, associates operate the central point of sale for grocery, liquor, and food truck orders. Associates uphold legal requirements for ID checks on alcohol and nicotine sales. They quickly change between the tasks of assisting customers, processing transactions, cleaning and organizing the store, and restocking shelves. All sales associates will be cross-trained to cook food truck orders so they can assist with breaks. Ideal for candidates who excel in customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the central point of sale for grocery, liquor, and food truck orders

• Process transactions through Revel POS

• Enforce legal ID checks for alcohol and nicotine sales

• Maintain a clean and organized store

• Assist with restocking shelves

• Cross-train as cook to assist with breaks

Requirements:

• 21 years or older

• 1 year of cashier experience

• 1 year of customer service experience

• Background check

• Servsafe food handlers certification (Must be obtained before starting work at your own expense.)

• TIPS alcohol certification (Must be obtained before starting work at your own expense.)

Preferred:

• 1 year of short-order cook experience

Pay:

• $16/hour

• $2/hour end-of-season bonus

• Pooled tips (averaged $2/hour last season)

Note: End-of-season bonus is earned by completing contracted dates and is held as a housing damage deposit. Credit card tips are pooled between all employees and paid out on payday based on the number of hours worked.
