JOB SUMMARY

Direct and control the activities of the Front Desk, Housekeeping, Concierge and Bell Staff.  Interact daily with Engineering department to ensure smooth communication and prompt work order completion as related to the room’s division.  Will act as the manager on duty in the hotel when the General Manager is not available.  Responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guests needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all hotel policies. 

JOB DUTIES

  1. Closely monitor day-to-day operations.

  2. Adhere to staffing and budget guidelines.

  3. Assist in budgeting and monthly planning.

  4. Ensure all service standards are met and adhered to.

  5. Regularly inspect public areas, guestrooms and related office and storage areas.

  6. Facilitate consistent quality of service to exceed guest expectations.

    Supervise performance, attendance, appearance and conduct of the room’s division staff.

  1. Maintain and manage the proper practice of standard operating procedures.

  2. Tactically work with Sales, Engineering, Housekeeping, Accounting, Reservations and Food and Beverage to maximize guest satisfaction.

  3. Review, coordinate and oversee guest arrivals and departures.

  4. Oversee all operational financial responsibilities.

  5. Monitor guest accounts and room inventory. Etc.

RESPONSIBILITY

  1. Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in the areas of the Concierge, Bell Staff, Door Staff, Valet Parking, Business Center, Communications, Reservations and lobby coverage.

  2. Provides basic trouble-shooting support for in-room services such as Internet, TV movies, games, and Web service

  3. Willing to accept additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by General Manager.

Since the position is at a managerial level, you will be expected to work the hours necessary for the successful completion of your objectives,    without receiving overtime pay. 

Minimum Requirements

Must have minimum of two years Front Office supervisory experience.

Require a strong background of supervisory experience.

Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proven track record resolving guest problems and expediting solutions.

Understand daily hotel operations and systems.

Must read, write and speak the English language.
