Welcome to Yellowstone! This is the view from our founder’s Gardiner, Montana office. The Yellowstone River, in the foreground, is at about 5,100 feet above sea level and the top of Electric Peak, on the skyline, is 10,990.
Electric lies inside Yellowstone National Park. The tree directly across the river plays host to Bald Eagles in the winter months – we’ve seen as many as 4 at a time there.
Update: In the spring of 2016 the Electric Peak / Yellowstone River webcam got zapped by lightning and was never replaced. The picture below is from shortly before it went dark. Archival images and videos are linked below.
