Job title: Mechanic
Reports to:Fleet Manager for East Zion Adventures and Zion Ponderosa

Primary Purpose:
Perform minor mechanical repairs to ensure the proper performance and safety of East
Zion Adventures and Zion Ponderosa vehicles. Work on projects assigned, follow established procedures.Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs with general supervision
- Ability to operate equipment and tools involved in vehicle repair
Ability to lift heavy equipment and vehicle parts
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Use diagnostic equipment to evaluate mechanical problems in vehicles
- Perform minor mechanical repairs
- Help lead mechanic complete major repairs
- Do welding
- Service vehicles according to established preventive maintenance schedule. Rotate and
balance tires, change oil and filters, lubricate vehicle parts, inspect and replace hoses, belts
mirrors, lamps and maintain all fluid levels. - Inspect vehicles and evaluate conditions of systems, equipment, accessories, and lights; service
as needed. - Demonstrate process of preventive maintenance and visual inspections to mechanic helpers.
Safety
- Operate tools, equipment, a machinery according to prescribed safety procedures.
- Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting,
Climbing, ect. - Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to
Supervisor immediately. - Help keep shop, equipment and tools in safe operating condition.
Other - Maintain accurate records of time and materials required to perform repairs and service.
- Operate vehicles as needed
- Work irregular hours as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Equipment Used:
Automotive diagnostic equipment, wheel balancing equipment, tire repairing equipment,
small hand tools, drill, drill press, grinders, air-powered tools, welding equipment, torque
wrench jack, and lift equipment.
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Moderate walking, standing, climbing, heavy lifting, carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling
and reaching. Work outside and inside, around moving objects, vehicles, and machinery with

- Hourly rate $17-$22 hr depending on experience.
- Onsite dorm style housing UPON AVAILABILITY (deposit of $200 and maintenance fee of $5 daily apply). All utilities included (laundry, wifi, water, power, sewer, etc).
- Discounts on all resort outlets including F&B, Recreation and Lodging (20%)

Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort is looking for a variety of restaurant positions to be filled year-round and seasonal. We are looking for: Line Cooks, Catering Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Dishwashers
We are looking for positive and hardworking people for a once-in-a-lifetime experience near one of the greatest National Parks in the Country, Zion! The back of house team is responsible for the day-to-day operation and food preparation for the restaurant and other food and beverage outlets as assigned. The line cook will be responsible for preparing items on all menus and ensuring safe and quality food items with excellent and prompt service to guests.
What you will be doing
- Ensure that all opening and closing duties are performed fully on a daily basis and that cleanliness and maintenance are maintained
- Stock station with necessary items, ensure par levels are maintained, and keep stations clean and organized
- Prep all meal and line items for meal period
- Provide highest quality and consistent cooking skills in all dishes prepared according to proper timelines and recipes given
- Prepare and present all meals according to standardized recipes and plates
- Maintain proper food safety and sanitation standards in all preparation
- Report directly to the Head Chef

- Hourly rate is $14/hour plus tips/gratuities, Estimated hours per week 40 (5 days on 2 days off)
- Onsite dorm style housing UPON AVAILABILITY (deposit of $200 and maintenance fee of $5 daily apply). All utilities included (laundry, wifi, water, power, sewer, etc).

What you’ll be doing
- Assist guests at the front desk in checking in and finding their lodging reservation
- Provide insightful information to help better the guests experience
- Assist guests purchasing items in the gift shop and snack items
- Answer phones to provide help to guests with questions
- Maintain clean lobby area and bathrooms
- Assist in keeping the gift shop and snack items stocked
- Assisting at the campground office helping guest check in and find their camping spots
- Assisting at the pool being an attendant who keeps towels clean and stocked, sells drinks and snacks, and keeps the pool area clean for guest, while enforcing pool rules and safety
What you will need to be successful
- Passion for hospitality, excellent service, and team success
- Experience or degrees in hospitality are great but not required to apply
- Have team attitude showing humility, hunger, and people smarts when working
- Keep a clean and professional appearance at all times
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly rate $12.50- $13.50 DOE, Estimated hours per week 35-40 (5 days on 2 days off)
