Works as a member of the Expeditions Program team; reports to Expeditions Operations Manager. The Expeditions Cook bases work from the A Bar A kitchen and prepares meals for guests at Expeditions facilities, including on-site cooking for Classic Expeditions trips. They help stock and clean Expeditions lodging and prepare for incoming guests. They serve as a guest host and support the team with logistics. Key traits for success: independence, adaptability, customer service, teamwork, stamina/work ethic, and attention to detail.

The Expeditions Cook works a 6-day work week with an average of 8-10 hours/day. They must be able to lift/carry at least 40 pounds.

Expeditions Program: The Expeditions program consists of Classic Expeditions and Self-Supported Expeditions. The Expeditions program hosts groups of 4–6 guests for 5–7-night customized trips based at Ranch locations beyond A Bar A headquarters.
