The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager reports to the Food and Beverage Manager and is responsible for supporting the F&B Mgr in all aspects of F&B's summer operations. This includes training and managing the food service staff (servers/dishwashers/bussers, wine stewards, bartenders). This position requires close communication with the F&B Mgr, Chef, and Ranch Managers to ensure the smooth operation of all aspects of food service for guests and employees. Essential responsibilities include: hosting guests in the Dining Lodge and responding to/communicating their needs; maintaining open communication and cooperation between food servers and culinary staff; providing a dining experience that meets the highest standards of customer service; overseeing the clean and efficient operation of the guest and employee dining rooms and other F&B areas; overseeing dining room set-up and meal service; supporting the F&B staff in maintaining efficient service during meals; supporting the creation/maintenance of checklists and other operations manuals and procedural documents pertaining to the F&B staff; supporting the Ranch Managers and other department heads as a member of the administrative team (including weekly leadership team meetings); and supporting all other aspects of restaurant management for guest and staff meal service. The Assistant F&B Manager is expected to uphold Ranch policies for staff conduct among the food service staff.

The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager works an average of 8-10 hours/day, 6 days per week. They must be able to lift/carry at least 40 pounds.
