Have you bartended a little, but only at the little family-run restaurant in your hometown? Have you worked as a host at a restaurant, but you'd rather be a server? Our Bartender / Host / Floater position could be the right fit for you. Our hosts stand at our bar where we only serve beer and wine, and they suggest delicious wines from our worldly list, or tasty craft beers from all around Idaho, to our guests as they wait to be sat for dinner. Along with that, our hosts see the reservations list and they set up the tables to accommodate varying reservations nightly. Throughout the shift as a host, you'll float around to tables and see if guests would like a refill on their drink, while clearing tables and helping that night's wait staff. We also expect our hosts to take bussing shifts, a shift in the back of house helping as a steward, a housekeeping shift, or a shift with our Children's Program.

The main responsibilities of the Bartender / Hosts / Floaters are to interact with guests with professionalism while performing floor duties during evening shifts. Hosts are responsible for enthusiastically welcoming guests, setting the tone with attentive service, and careful attention to the details of host tasks. We want you to talk to the guests and see how their day was. Tell them about the recent hike you went on, or how much you love the song being played by the musicians on our front porch. We want you to like to talk to people!

Responsibilities include: acquainting guests with our food and beverage program, assisting with dinner reservations, seating, and beverage sales. Attentive, gracious, service to guests, careful performance of daily work, and adherence to standards and practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen and service areas are essential elements of the Ranch waitstaff job. Also performs other related duties as assigned by management.
