Housekeeping Supervisor

The Housekeeping Supervisor performs a combination of duties to maintain guest rooms and/or public areas as well as supervise staff. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment working on your feet. We are seeking someone motivated, pays attention to detail, has strong leadership and communication skills and has the ability to motivate our housekeeping and laundry team!

Job Responsibilities:

•  Supervise and train housekeeping staff/Inspecting rooms
•  Assigning tasks and ensuring all rooms and common area are cleaned at the end of the day
•  Ordering supplies/putting away supplies
•  Address maintenance issues and report them to the maintenance department
•  Removing and collecting linens for laundering and transporting them to designated areas
•  Cleaning carpets, furniture, and rugs with a vacuum/carpet cleaner
•  Dusting furniture and equipment
•  Cleaning bathroom floors, showers and toilets
•  Using safe cleaning chemical-based products to clean
•  Demonstrate a high level of guest service, by responding and taking appropriate action to resolve concerns and complaints of guests
• Ability to move a 50+lb cart and lift heavy boxes

• This is a year-round position
• Pay structure: DOE

• Available to work mid-April to mid-October (taking time off or vacation in the winter months)
