Job Summary: Seats guests and controls flow in Bierstube while assisting wait staff.

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:

• Act as point of first contact for Bierstube guests, setting a guest first service approach.
• Seat guests and maintain a wait list when appropriate.
• Bus and reset tables.
• Stock table settings, merchandiser cooler, and service stations.
• Stock and clean wait staff area.
• Assist in daily set up and close down duties.
• Assist wait staff and bar staff in running food, filling drinks and other guest focused duties.

Required:

• Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective communication with guests, co-workers, supervisors, and managers.
• Ability to work varied schedule including weekends/holidays.
• State of Montana Liquor Certificate (available online).

Experience/ Education

Preferred:

• Experience in food service.
• Prior experience working with the public.
• Cash handling experience.
• Knowledge of the ski industry.

The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms.  The employee is occasionally required to lift and move up to 40 lbs.
