Job Summary: Builds and maintains Terrain park under supervision of Terrain Park Manager.

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:

  • Install and maintain park signage, closures, trail markings, fencing and banner tape.
  • Monitor terrain features by visual inspection and testing.
  • Maintain condition and appearance of terrain features, jumps, ramps, rails etc.
  • Assist with special events including erection and maintenance of equipment.
  • Participate in user education and training.
  • Remove or relocate snow as needed.
  • Effectively communicate with other employees both in person and via telephone/two-way radio.

Required:

  • Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective communication with guests, co-workers, supervisors, and managers.
  • Ability to work varied schedule including weekends/holidays.

Experience/ Education

Preferred:

  • Experience with terrain park features.
  • Knowledge of the ski industry.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, hear and smell.  The employee is frequently required to handle objects, tools, or controls.  Must be capable of walking or standing 90% or more of a normal 8-hour work shift.  Must be capable of lifting and moving 50 lbs. or more.  Must be capable of walking on uneven terrain and snow and ice, shoveling snow, bending, stooping, and sitting for extended periods of time.
