SUMMER CLUBHOUSE ATTENDANT

Job Summary: Serves as the front line for Red Lodge Mountain Golf Course, providing customer service to guests on and off the course.

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:

  • Ensure customer satisfaction with efficient, friendly service.
  • Efficiently ring up customer sales using computer POS.
  • Schedule, check in and organize Tee times in computer.
  • Answer the phone and effectively communicate with customers as well as other employees.
  • Prepare golf carts and record numbers from front row so they can be assigned.
  • Keep pro shop floors and counters clean.
  • Clean and stock locker/rest rooms.
  • Assist in tournaments.
  • Receive and sign for deliveries.
  • Keep cart area neat and organized, clean carts as they return, and fuel as necessary.
  • Pick range balls off the range, clean balls, fill club and ball cleaners and return range baskets to golf shop.
  • Marshal, fill water towers, and empty garbage on course.
  • Occasional golf course maintenance including raking sand traps.
  • On course snack and beverage cart service.
  • Cook lunch on BBQ grills.
  • Help maintain the Pro Shop and grounds.
  • Prepare facilities for events.
  • Understand and perform opening and closing duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required:

Experience/Education:

Preferred:

  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of the golf industry.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work in outside mountain weather conditions, and may work near moving mechanical parts. They may be exposed to extreme cold/hot, windy, and wet conditions.

Job Summary: Promote the sport of skiing or snowboarding by providing safe, enjoyable, and effective snowsport lessons for guests.

WINTER SNOWSPORTS INSTRUCTOR

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:

  • Ensure customer satisfaction with efficient, friendly service.
  • Instruct and educate guests in skiing or snowboarding using modern teaching techniques.
  • Select appropriate terrain for lesson according to guest skill level.
  • Attend training clinics.
  • Work with children 3 years and older.
  • Remove or relocate snow as needed.
  • Effectively communicate with other employees both in person and via telephone/two-way radio.

Required:

  • Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective communication with guests, co-workers, supervisors, and managers.
  • Intermediate skiing or snowboarding ability.
  • Ability to work varied schedule including weekends/holidays.

Experience/ Education

Preferred:

  • Prior experience working with the public.
  • PSIA/AASI certification.
  • Knowledge of the ski industry.
