Job Summary: Serve as the “command/information center” at Red Lodge Mountain.  Answer & direct phone calls, respond to emails, distribute information, and assist guests and employees.  Will work closely with and assist the HR Department.

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:

  • Greet guests, visitors, and employees in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner, and redirect their inquiries appropriately.
  • Professionally administer all incoming calls and ensure calls are redirected appropriately.
  • Update a recorded snow phone, the RLM website, and snow reporting websites daily and as conditions change.
  • Compile and interpret data to make a clear interpretation of snow and weather conditions.
  • Assist employees with paperwork, perks/benefits, time badges, nametags, and uniforms.
  • Oversee the safety responsibilities for the Administrative office.
  • Sort and deliver mail to employees.
  • Order, receive, stock, and distribute office supplies.
  • Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of mail services (FedEx, UPS, USPS).
  • Prepare memos, correspondence, reports, announcements, and other documents.
  • Fill in for other departments as necessary (tickets, rentals, retail, food and beverage).

Required:

  • Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective communication with guests, co-workers, supervisors, and managers.
  • Punctual and highly organized.
  • Able to use multi-line phone system.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends/holidays.
  • Self-motivated individual that is able to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience/ Education

Required:

  • Previous administrative experience.
  • Experience in ski industry

Preferred:

  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop

The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms.  The employee is occasionally required to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
