Provide service to 5 food and beverage locations with over 11 million in annual sales.  Maintain Inventory and par levels of all food, beverage and consumables twice a week from over 25 purveyors.  Receive over 1000 cases daily, distribute to directed locations. Use correct receiving practices of invoice management, quality control, temperature awareness, communication of exceptions and recovery plan. Maintain organization and cleanliness of all storage areas; sheet to shelf, rotate use first items, employee education and product safety.  Continuing education of order guide product knowledge.

Lead by Executive Sous Chef – Trent Huntsman

Responsibilities of Purchasing and Receiving include:

  • Possess a Valid Washington State Food Workers Card (ServSafe® Certificate is helpful but does not qualify/replace a Washington State Food Worker Card)
  • Possess a Washington State Alcohol Permit or MAST Card
  • Exceptional organizational skills and memory retention of storage area product order
  • Understanding of quality standards of fresh fish, meat, produce and dairy.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat
  • Basic bookkeeping skills
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. and operate a hand truck with 100 lbs. of product
  • Passion for business and the willingness to learn from others
  • Sense of urgency and commitment to high quality

  • Exceptional communication skills and knowledge of kitchen operations
  • Respects the importance of procedures, policies and recipes and able to teach others

Experience: 2-3years in Purchasing and Receiving

Start Date: March 31, 2025, April 21, 2025 and May 12, 2025

End Date: October 5, 2025 or October 26, 2025

Wage Range: $22 to $25 per/hr.       Overtime Rate (after 40 hrs.): $33.00 to $37.50 per/hr.

Other Compensation:

  • Shift meal included at no cost to Culinary Staff (non tipped)
  • Chef Uniforms provided with cleaning services. (Coat-vest, shirt, pants and hat) Culinary staff to provide safety shoes.
  • Stay Bonus of $1.00 for every hour worked.  Must arrive on scheduled start date through end date. Termination of employment forfeits all bonus accrual.
  • Star Performance Incentive.  This is earned bonus for staff excelling in their kitchen and is paid weekly: Up to $1.00 for every hour worked for meeting or exceeding star performance standards 20 center per hour for each standard met:

Total compensation potential including End of Season Bonus and Star Performance Incentive: $27.00 per hour

Housing is available for singles and couples.  Rent is paid weekly.
