Description: Roche Harbor is Seattle Bride Magazine's Best NW Destination for the last seven years. Roche Harbor Events Department executes over 100 weddings and events each year. All of our events showcase our Chefs preparing and serving interactive menus that focus on Pacific Northwest cuisine. Roche Harbors’ event team executes indoor and outdoor weddings & events with service that create memories for a lifetime.
Requirements include:
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs, stand on feet for a prolonged period (8-12 hours per shift), and easily bend at the waist and knees
- Able to work in outdoor venues
- Assist with setup and break down of events
- Ability to multi task efficiency with urgency and confidence all the while having a smile on your face.
- Attention to detail making guests feel welcome, important, and relaxed.
- Work well in a team environment. Teams run with anywhere from 3 people to 20 people depending on the event.
- Understand basic rules of commercial kitchen environment
- Be able to clear and keep tables clean during service.
- Be able to carry trays of plated food and drinks for F&B service
- Assist back of the house when needed.
- Assist bartender / replenish barware when needed.
- Understand the signs of being intoxicated.
- Complete side work during and after shift.
- Subsidize working hours in any of the restaurants at Roche Harbor as a secondary position mid-week bussing/hosting/support roles
- Must have WA State Food Handlers and WA State MAST
Experience Required/Qualifications: 1 full year bussing/food handling experience- Event/Banquet experience a plus. 18 years old+
Wage: $23.50/hour plus additional $5.00/hour tip allocation. A potential end of season bonus of up to a $2.00 per hour worked in events department based on performance and start and end date are met.
Average 25+ hours per week in Events, 15+ hours per week in secondary role. Secondary role will be in one of other three restaurants either bussing, food running, hosting or cashiering.

Housing is available for singles and couples. Rent is paid weekly.
