Supervisor - Event Operations Manager & Lead Set Up

Summary - The Event Server Set up Crew

  • Adhere to Roche Harbor appearance standards and arrive to work on time and in proper uniform wearing your name-tag for your entire shift.
  • Be a team player with the Events Department as well as all Roche Harbor Departments and Vendors
  • Attend all training meetings
  • Confirm your scheduled shift with Operations Manager weekly
  • Ensure all guests receive timely, friendly service            

The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to: 

 Job Duties~

  • Delivering and Setting up tables and chairs according to diagram
  • Dressing Tables with Linens (Overlays & Underlays)
  • Work with Concierge Folding Napkins, Setting Silverware, Setting glassware
  • Set-up and breakdown of wedding chairs for ceremony
  • Delivering fire wood, cleaning and set up of fires
  • Delivering Plates, glasses and garbage cans to venue sites
  • Set-up PA systems and Propane Heaters
  • Complete all Set-Up tasks given prior to start of Event
  • Assist with bar set up and break down 
  • Stay through dinner to assist with venue needs such as moving items from ceremony, buffet line equipment and trouble-shooting AV equipment

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS~

  • Passion for service, outgoing, pleasant personality
  • Ability to lift 50-75 pounds
  • Ability to stand for 10 hours
  • Ability to work as a team 
  • Ability to work from April to end of October, nights and weekends.

PRIMARY WORKING CONDITIONS~ The person working in this position will work indoor/outdoor.  The job requires long hours on feet, standing, walking, lifting, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs.
