Description: Roche Harbor’s Weddings are always among Seattle Bride Magazine's top award winning resorts over the past 30 years. Roche Harbor caters over 250 weddings and events each year. All of our events showcase our culinary staff preparing and serving farm to table menus that focus on Pacific Northwest ingredients and cuisine. Roche Harbors’ event culinary team prepares food that is high quality, with local meats; fish; and vegetables, and is prepared from scratch. At Roche Harbor Events we serve restaurant quality menus in a banquet format. This position allows are culinary staff to engage with the guest and explain menu preparations and accommodate of dietary restrictions and lifestyle choices.

Lead by Executive Sous Chef – Trent Huntsman and talented team.

The position of Stewards dish machine operator is highly respected and an integral part of the restaurant and kitchen team responsible maintaining a quick flow of clean china, glassware, utensils and pots & pans from the pass through to service areas. This position is given the added privilege of being able choose anything from the full menu for their shift meal.

Requirements Include:

  • Possess a Valid Washington State Food Workers Card (ServSafe® Certificate is helpful but does not qualify/replace a Washington State Food Worker Card)
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, stand for a prolonged period, and easily bend at the waist
  • Maintains SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) of station and equipment
  • Maintain a positive attitude in a fast paced environment
  • Requires self motivation and ability to have fun while working

Experience Required/Qualifications: Dish Machine Operator Experience helpful

Start Date: April 21, 2025, May 19, 2025 and June 6, 2025

End Date:  September 14, 2025, September 28, 2025 and October 12, 2025

Wage Range: $22 per hour   Overtime Rate (after 40 hrs.): $33.00 per hour

Other Compensation:

  • Signing Bonus of $1000 paid after completion of 21 days of employment.
  • End of Season Stay Bonus of $2000 paid after completion of employment agreement
  • Shift meal included at no cost to Culinary Staff (non tipped)
  • Chef Uniforms provided with cleaning services. (Chef coat, pants, hat and apron) Culinary staff to provide safety shoes and optional knife set
  • Star Performance Incentive.  This is earned bonus for staff excelling in their kitchen and is paid weekly: Up to $1.00 for every hour worked for meeting or exceeding star performance standards 20 center per hour for each standard met:

Total compensation potential including End of Season Bonus and Star Performance Incentive: $23.00 per hour plus $3000 in bonus

Housing available for singles and couples.  Rent is paid weekly.
