Product Receiving & Merchandising

Job Description:

• Work approx. 30-40 hours per week with at least 2 days off
• Shifts range from 6-10 hours; receiving shifts early morning; weekend; evening shifts
• ‘Time’ trucks arrive can vary greatly; as will the shift to accommodate; must be flexible
• Staff required to wear a uniform shirt and name tag provided by Roche Harbor
• Traditional summer holidays are considered normal working days/no pay differential is given.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs; operate a pallet jack & cardboard baler; organize and prioritize your daily routine
• Process deliveries in dry storage areas, food and non-food, and the walk-in coolers and freezers
• Responsible for cleanliness of all area’s following the receiving & storing of product
• Rotate product in all areas to represent a First In, First out philosophy of product usage
• Work as part of a Team and complete assigned tasks with minimum supervision
• Other tasks as assigned by the Store Manager or Shift Supervisor

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Age 18+ - including a High School graduation or G.E.D.
• Successfully work early morning and/or late evening shifts; occasionally split shifts
• Meet all deliveries as scheduled allowing for irregularity in regards to arrival time
• Fluctuation in shifts with little or no notice; due to irregularity of truck delivery times***
• ***Includes, but not limited to MON & WEDS (weekly)
• Ability to work on one’s feet for extended periods of time
• Working knowledge of products: How to handle; store and rotate all product
• Demonstrate consistent work ethic with Positive Attitude
• Demonstrate ability to maintain positive working relationships with all co-workers
• Communicate clearly in written/verbal form with customers/guests; employees and management
• Ability to organize and prioritize your daily routine
• Enjoy a fast-paced atmosphere
• Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality
• Follow instructions received from Store Manager & Shift Supervisor’s

Experience Required:  Previous shipping and receiving experience helpful

Wage:              $18.00 per hour
