Full of Awe and Wonder
We’re sending out a warm greeting – to welcome in December and Winter and to ease the screeching sound of “Whoa! How is 2018 going by so quickly?”
Many thanks to our friend Meg at the Grand Canyon for capturing and sharing this incredible moment in time. As if the Canyon isn’t enough to marvel at all by itself, the creative endeavor of Frosty with Mother Nature’s spectacular touch of the “snowbow” is a trifecta of delight!
Each of you experiences moments of awe and surprise like this all across the country – in so many different Great Places. Granted, maybe you wouldn’t be in that specific Great Place without the job that you signed up for. It’s certainly a magical combo of working and living and playing in places from the Grand Canyon to Denali, and from Yosemite to Acadia, and so many places in between. The opportunities we see constantly make our heads spin – we love the chance to live vicariously through you!
“To be more childlike, you don’t have to give up being an adult. The fully integrated person is capable of being both an adult and a child simultaneously. Recapture the childlike feelings of wide-eyed excitement, spontaneous appreciation, cutting loose, and being full of awe and wonder at this magnificent universe.” ~ Wayne Dyer
I’m going to shoot for “cutting loose” a bit more. I’d say “What do I have to lose?”, but I must be a wee bit careful not to jinx myself before heading out on a winter sledding expedition. What might you choose for yourself this season?
Our pal Braxton chose his winter gig at Grand Targhee in Wyoming. He shared “Great start to another season” this week. Take a look through his wide-eyed view…
