As a CDL driver-guide, you will be responsible for the safe loading, transporting and unloading of guests in a friendly, courteous, professional manner. Driver guides are responsible for maintaining regular communication with the front office dispatch and tour supervisors in the field. A class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement and no airbrake restrictions, current DOT Physical Card, clean driving record, pre-employment drug testing and enrollment in a random drug testing program required.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Compliance with all DOT regulations
Accurate completion of pre & post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR)
Daily cleaning and minor maintenance of all equipment and facilities keeping them clean, orderly and in good repair
Obeying all traffic laws and ensuring vehicles have all required safety equipment
Learning the information necessary to deliver an entertaining and informed narrative during the tour including flora, fauna, and natural history of the area
Creating a positive, professional culture and work environment
Understanding and compliance with company safety & operational policies
