Alaska Wildland Adventures is currently hiring for multiple positions for our 2025 summer season! Let's start with the perks, shall we:
We offer free housing and provide all food for all staff free of cost with no deduction from paychecks.
Our Chefs prepare dinner daily for all staff.
We provide 2 consecutive days off every week for opportunity to adventure, rest, and enjoy Alaska.
We have locations on the banks of the Kenai River, on the shores of a glacial lake, and in Kenai Fjords.
70% retention rate amongst staff members.
Continued support and training for all positions.
Airport transportation offered to all staff at start and end of their contracted dates.
Support offered to employees with aspirations to learn new roles whether it be guiding, managing, etc.
LOCATION:
Kenai Riverside Lodge - steps away from the Kenai River located in Cooper Landing, AK with road system access. We employ about 65 staff members at this lodge.
Kenai Backcountry Lodge - our smallest lodge (14 staff members) tucked in on the shores of a glacially fed lake, Skilak Lake, with a 20 minute boat ride away from the road system of Cooper Landing.
Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge - a 4 hour boat ride from Seward and nestled in Aialik Bay, this lodge employs about 26 staff members.
AVAILABLE POSITIONS:
Basecamp Driver/Maintenance Assistant at the Kenai Riverside Lodge - drive between Anchorage, Seward, and Cooper Landing. Support our Raft Program's shuttles and provide support around camp for various projects. Assist our Maintenance Lead with various projects. $16-19/hr DOE w/ free food & housing.
Kenai Guide at the Kenai Riverside Lodge and Kenai Backcountry Lodge - raft guests 17 miles, dine and serve meal service, hike in backcountry settings for two consecutive days, and lead all logistics for up to 3 days of programming through various rafting and hiking adventures. $16.50/hr w/ free food & housing.
Hospitality - cleaning cabins, serving dinner, etc. $15/hr w/ free food & housing.
Dinner & Breakfast Cook at the Kenai Backcountry Lodge - lead dinner and/or breakfast service for. $17-22/hr DOE w/ free food & housing.
