NOW HIRING HYBRID ROLE - HOSPITALITY & TAIL GUIDE (HIKING & KAYAKING)

• We offer free housing and provide all food for all staff free of cost with no deduction from paychecks.

• Airport transportation offered to Ted Stevens Anchorage Airport for all staff at start and end of their contracted dates.
• Funded & facilitated Kayak Trip Leader Course Certification for right applicant

AVAILABILITY:  May 9 - September 5, 2024

FOOD & HOUSING: Staff are provided a dry cabin-styled Yukon tent shared with (1) other roommate. Free food and Chef prepared dinners are served daily. 

JOB OBJECTIVE: Clean forested guest cabins, provide dish support in main lodge, manage laundry and various camp chores, support Guides by tail or co- guiding on trail to alpine tundra as well leading Kayak tours on glacially fed lake.

THE RIGHT APPLICANT WOULD BE:

• Comfortable in backcountry settings
• Able to stay enthused through harsh (likely wet) weather
• Happy working on a small team
• Not need frequent internet connectivity
• Happy sharing a canvas wall tent with 1 other roomate
• Passionate about educating guests of our natural world and local wilderness
• Detail oriented when cleaning cabins
• Happy doing various cleaning projects when not guiding
• Be willing or have a Wilderness First Aid (preferred, not required)
