- Regularly performs trail maintenance using hand tools.

Golf Maintenance – Pest Controller
Job Details: Angel Fire Resort in Angel Fire, NM is seeking a Golf Course Chemical Applicator. This position manages the rodent/pest control program for the Angel Fire Resort Golf Course.
Essential Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Under the direction of the Golf Course Superintendent, performs accurate calculations to determine pesticide and fertilizer mixing and application rates according to the product label
- Responsible for the proper mixing, loading and application of pesticides and fertilizers in a safe manner consistent with applicable laws and label / SDS requirements
- Monitors pest populations and participate in developing Integrated Pest Management strategies for control
- Reports accurate quantities of applied pesticides and fertilizers to the golf course superintendent for proper record keeping
- Maintain chemical storage and mixing areas in compliance with county, state and federal regulations
- Although primarily a pesticide/fertilizer applicator, this position requires a team player that performs all jobs required by general greens keepers including but not limited to mowing, trimming, golf course setup, and bunker maintenance
Qualifications:
- Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Valid driver’s license with driving record insurable under resort insurance
- Appropriate pesticide/herbicide application certification
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise environment is usually moderate.

Experience life at 8,500′ on our par 72, 6,653 yard, 18-hole golf course surrounded by the majestic southern Rocky Mountains in Angel Fire, New Mexico. The front nine incorporates a longer-playing layout that meanders through two unspoiled canyons of aspen, spruce, and pine, while the back nine offers links-style play with smaller greens and plenty of bunkers. The signature hole, #6, places the golfer on the tee box 200 vertical feet above the green, 239 yards away, surrounded by groves of aspen trees and towering pine.
This position includes greeting members and customers, loading golf bags on and off the carts, washing golf clubs, issuing rental golf carts to customers, picking up golf balls on the driving range, maintaining golf carts by washing, fueling, and inspecting for maintenance needs, and representing the resort as a whole.
Applicants must possess strong customer service skills, be able to communicate effectively, and be able to maintain a positive attitude in a demanding environment.

Angel Fire Resort is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced & energetic individual with at least 1 year experience in the resort Food and Beverage Industry to coordinate daily functions for El Jefe. This position is responsible for training cooks and other kitchen workers engaged in preparing and cooking foods and ensuring an efficient and profitable food service by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Orders product and manages inventory.
- Tests cooked foods by tasting and smelling them.
- Ensures consistency of all food.
- Supervises cooking and other kitchen personnel and coordinates their assignments to ensure timely food production.
- Observes methods of food preparation and cooking, sizes of portions, and garnishing of foods to ensure food is prepared in prescribed manner and at proper cost margins.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen at all times.
- Assists the chef with development of menu items for all outlets based on current trends and product availability.

Angel Fire Resort is looking for a Landscaping Manager to plan and execute large and small scale landscaping project. This position also maintains the existing grounds and landscape of Angel Fire Resort Facilities. In the winter, this position will direct snow removal activities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Works with the Director of Landscape Operations to develop long range landscaping plans, set goals, and prioritize projects.
- Manages all activities involving landscape production and maintenance, including the coordination of all materials, people, equipment and subcontractors required to produce a quality job.
- Prepares accurate estimates and take-off’s for new landscaping projects.
- Produces quality landscape design with supporting materials such as sketches, elevations, rendered plans, and photo images for proposed landscaping projects.
- Ensures every job site’s quality, safety, and appearance.
- Effectively maintains irrigation systems and identifies and corrects problems and makes necessary repairs.
- Establishes standards and procedures for work of landscaping staff.
- Trains landscaping staff on procedures and inspects their work.
- Effectively monitors plant and turf grass vigor and identifies and addresses insect or disease problems
- Manages and maintains all administrative and record keeping systems required including time sheets, schedules, work orders, and budgets.
- Develops and implements strategies to meet the expectations and goals for the landscaping department
- Plans work schedules, hours, areas of work, and job duties to ensure adequate services are rendered to all areas.
- Ensures the operation of equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, making repairs, maintaining equipment and inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Oversees the landscape irrigation including design, construction and usage/water management. Demonstrates the ability to calculate estimated water flow needs and sizes systems accordingly.

A typical shift: Starts around 8:00am and ends around 5:00pm. However, applicants should expect to work weekends and holidays, day shifts and evening shifts, as required by the nature of the resort business.

Job Details:
Angel Fire Resort is looking for Zip Line Guides for the Summer Season. Guides are responsible for leading tours, inspecting and maintaining the course, providing exceptional customer service, and creating a safe and enjoyable experience for the guests.
We are looking for applicants with effective communication skills, who enjoy the outdoors, are reliable, punctual, can follow strict safety standards, and who will strive to provide superior customer service at all times.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Working at heights leading Zip Line Tours
- Ensure proper fit of guest harness
- Follow safety protocol
- Ensure guests are secured to apparatus
- Solid interpersonal skills and leadership skills: energetic, focused, and appreciates responsibility and challenges
- Perform equipment checks and notify management of any issues
- Provide entertaining tours and create memorable moments for our guests
- Must enjoy working with adults and children
- Enjoys working outside in variable summer weather conditions
Qualifications:
- Comfortable working at heights
- First Aid Certification preferred
- May require a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience with zip lines, high ropes, or rock climbing desirable

Schedule: Seasonal Full-Time or Part-Time positions available. The summer season runs May14-October 31. Zip Line trainees will need to be available for 6 day training beginning May 7th.
Housing: Limited employee housing is available upon reservation. Employee housing is “dorm-style” and ranges from $350-$750/month. A list of local rental resources is available upon request.
