Job Description
The Emergency Medical Technician is responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency medical situations. EMTs perform triage on injured or ill guests and employees and assess whether outside medical response is necessary. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs
COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $21.00 to $21.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
This position is at Lake Tahoe Adventures for the Winter 2024-2025 season. The season dates are typically from December through the end of March/April depending on snowfall.
Job Responsibilities
• Performs on the scene medical response and assesses patient’s condition to determine a proper course of treatment
• Provides basic life support including airway management, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and use of the automatic defibrillator when necessary
• Reports verbally and in writing medical care and observations of the patient at the emergency scene and in transit
• Assist in the transportation of the injured to additional response units
• Restocks and replaces used supplies, cleans all equipment following appropriate disinfecting procedures
• Maintains patient confidentiality according to state and federal laws
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications
• EMT certification required
• CPR/AED certification required
• Previous EMT experience preferred
• Must be able to use judgement and make decisions in a high stress, fast paced environment
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
