Room and Board
Housing is offered to our full-time staff. We have multiple housing locations in downtown Bar Harbor. Staff are able to walk to shops, grocery, restaurants, work, and island transportation.
Each home is unique but all offer full kitchens, laundry, common spaces, and internet. Rooms are shared and there is a weekly charge of $100.
Employee Perks

Getting Here and Getting Around
Housing is located centrally to shops, dining, grocery, excursions, work, and The Island Explorer. The Island Explorer is a free shuttle that brings you all over Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park. Buses and shuttle service is also available to shops, airports, and bus stations off island.
For Fun
Better known as MDI - Mt. Desert Island is home to many little harbor towns but Bar Harbor is the placeholder as the most desirable locale to summer in Maine.
Acadia is well known for its picturesque beauty and rich history. Home to the highest point on the eastern seaboard Cadillac Mountain is a treasure. It's host to the first location to be touched by the early morning sunrise. The surrounding mountains of Jordan Pond, Eagle Lake, and Long Pond are home to over a hundred miles of biking and hiking trails. Avid climbers can enjoy the peaks of The Bee Hive, The Bubbles, or The Precipice.
