Housekeeper

We need Housekeeper/s!

Bettles Lodge is a small rustic lodge with 14 rooms total between our two Lodges. 8 of those rooms don't have plumbing in the room itself.  There are 12 total bathrooms as well.  We specialize in getting our adventurous "National Park Collectors: up, out and boots on the ground in both Arctic National Parks during the warmer months, then when winter comes, Awesome Northern Lights viewing and also offer other activities such as dog sledding, snowmachining, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing.  We pride ourselves in superior customer service.

Your primary job is housekeeping; however, there'll be snow shoveling, dog yard/poop scooping, aircraft & snow machine fueling and all-around customer support.  With a small crew, flexibility & teamwork is essential.  

Work can start as soon as you are able to get yourself to Fairbanks, and catch the flight (we provide) up to Bettles from Fairbanks.

A private sleeping room with shared bathroom provided and 3 employee meals per day are provided.  Tips are split evenly between the crew.  If you successfully complete the season, you will also be eligible for an end of season bonus, commensurate with your performance.  We will provide air transportation between Fairbanks and Bettles at the beginning and end of your employment.

We have very dark nights and no light pollution only 19 people live here fulltime in our tiny community, so arguably the best spot on the planet for Northern Lights.

All employees are expected to have your own winter outer gear.  We love to work and play hard!!
