    Flag Football Counselor

    $2,800.00 - $3,800.00 / season
    Brant Lake

We are looking for high school or college footbal players (salary bonus for college athletes) to share their love of the sport with our campers.

As a flag football counselor, you will be assigned to an age division (Junior Camp: 7-10 year olds, Inter Camp: 11-12 year olds, or Senior Camp: 13-15 year olds) and spend your entire day with those boys. As a flag football counselor, you would spend about 2-4 hours of your day teaching and coaching campers in this sport. The rest of your day would be made up of supporting instruction in other sports where you can assist, spending time at the waterfront, and supervising campers during less formal activities.

We believe it is important for our counselors to have this variety in their day. This helps keep counselors fresh in their areas of expertise and allows them to focus on the individual needs of their campers: spending time with them throughout the day and playing the role of “big brother” or “big sister.”

Travel stipend of $100-500 depending on location.

    Waterfront Counselor

    $2,800.00 - $3,800.00 / season
    Brant Lake

We are looking for passionate swimmers, sailers, kayakers, canoers, water-skiers, and wake-boarders who want to work at our beautiful lakefront this summer. We provide all lifeguard training and certification to all interested staff (must be able to arrive on June 11).

At Brant Lake Camp, we have two types of waterfront counselors - "core" staff and general waterfront counselors. All of our staff will be assigned to an age division (Junior Camp: 7-10 year olds, Inter Camp: 11-12 year olds, or Senior Camp: 13-15 year olds).

Our "core" waterfront staff spends mornings and evenings with their group, but the rest of their day is spent at our waterfront with campers of all ages.

As a general waterfront counselor, you would spend about 2-4 hours of your day lifeguarding and teaching campers at the lake. The rest of your day would be made up of supporting instruction in other sports where you can assist and supervising campers during less formal activities.

    General Counselor

    $2,800.00 - $3,800.00 / season
    Brant Lake

General Counselors are the heart of the Brant Lake experience for our campers. Counselors have three main responsibilities:

    1. Their first responsibility is to the boys in their bunk.
    2. Secondly, to the boys in their division (Juniors, Inters or Seniors).
    3. Thirdly, but still importantly, to the activity in which he or she can best be helpful to our  campers and daily program.

While General Counselors might have special skills in a particular area, very few of our counselors will teach the same activity for more than half of their day. This helps keep counselors fresh in their areas of expertise and allows them to focus on the individual needs of their campers: spending time with them throughout the day and playing the role of “big brother” or “big sister.”

    General Counselors:

    • Like people and spending time with kids in healthy ways
    • Have a zest for life
    • Are positive role models
    • Have energy and a positive outlook
    • Have a good sense of humor
    • Are flexible and reliable
    • Are good team players

Travel stipend of $100-500 depending on location.
