Description

C Lazy U Ranch is a luxury, family-oriented vacation destination, and the MSHS will exemplify the key drivers of success for Member Services, including the importance of ensuring that Member families and guests have an unforgettable experience while home maintenance and care is provided at the highest quality. 

OBJECTIVE: The Member Services Housekeeping Supervisor (MSHS) will serve as the go-to person for all Member’s housekeeping needs. This position will schedule housekeeping for Member’s homes. Not only should this person assume all current Member Services housekeeping needs, but also be innovative and creative in finding other valuable services the department can provide. A successful MSHM will be flexible and diverse in nature, working with initiative, common sense, and momentum. The expectation for all Members Services personnel is to be responsive to all Members and their guests, Vendors, Contractors, and Team Members. 

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Organizing, supervising, and coordinating the work of member housekeeping personnel daily. This may or may not include scheduling and resolving issues for other staff. 

• Maintain standard operating procedures (SOP) for cleaning and initiate new procedures to increase the efficiency of labor or product-use. 

• Develop and implement tasks to be performed daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually. 

• Ensure excellence in housekeeping sanitation, safety, comfort, and aesthetics for all members and their guests. 

• Investigate and resolve member complaints regarding cleanliness. 

• Ensure proper communication with member housekeepers and MSPS. 

• Conduct regular meetings with staff. 

• Draw attention to maintenance issues throughout member’s residences. 

• Track hours related to member services housekeeping and report to MSPS timely. 

• Activate and deactivate building alarms for housekeeping staff. 

• At certain times, this position would be responsible for the emergency member cell phone (on call): To respond to all calls and text messages in a professional and timely manner and activate and deactivate alarms. 

• Willing to provide all aspects of cleaning. 

• Is well versed in all ranch activities and services. 

• Respond to all member requests with a positive and upbeat attitude. 

• Consider ways to increase the value of our member service program by new offerings and services. 

• Assist in member events i.e., set-up, and tear down of these events. 

• Work to build strong and trusting relationships with the member families. 

• Regularly Check email; responding to members and co-workers timely and professionally. 

• Protecting the workplace environment by requiring appropriate equipment and facilities maintenance. 

• Attend all Ranch required meetings and training. 

• Maintain exacting standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing a cowboy hat and the provided C Lazy U shirt. 

• Maximize effort toward productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions. 

• All Member Related Services, as necessary.

 • Assist Ranch Housekeeping Department as necessary and ensure a positive and cohesive working relationship between departments.

Requirements

KEY COMPETENCIES: 

• Excellent Communication and Organizational Skills: The MSHS must be able to communicate effectively with Members, guests, colleagues, and management. They must be able to listen actively, speak clearly, and write concisely. 

• Outgoing and enthusiastic personality: The MSHS should be friendly, approachable, and have a positive attitude.  

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required. 

• Proven working experience as a housekeeper, executive housekeeper or in a similar role. 

• Knowledge of housekeeping operations and best practices. 

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their hazards. 

• Proficiency in English communication (verbal and written). 

• Ability to assign, monitor and review staff work. 

• Excellent customer service: The MSHS should have good people skills. 

• Strong organizational skills: The MSHS should have good problem-solving and leadership skills. 

• Strong work ethic: The MSHS should be reliable, punctual, and dedicated. Must go above and beyond to ensure that Members and their guests have an enjoyable stay. 

• Attention to detail: The MSHS must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. They should be able to anticipate Member needs and provide personalized service. 

• Problem-solving skills: The MSHS should be able to think critically and creatively to solve problems. They must handle unexpected situations calmly and efficiently. 

• Professionalism: The MSHS must always maintain high ethical standards and professionalism. They should represent the Ranch and the brand with integrity and dedication both on and off duty. 

• Ability to work independently with remote supervision. 

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, guests, Members, and the public. 

• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft365 Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel. SharePoint, Publisher, Oracle Opera Cloud, Simphony or other hotel PMS/POS systems experience a plus. 

• Must have a valid Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s auto insurance carrier. 

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

• Employee is regularly required to talk and listen. Frequently required to sit, stand, use hands, type, and handle, or make use of sense of touch. 

• The employee is required to walk on uneven terrain, reach with hands, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. 

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. 

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. 

• Ability to drive/operate vehicles/equipment on varying terrain with varying conditions, including snow, mud, and ice.
