Cabin Counselor / Lifeguard

Camp Lochearn for Girls is a residential summer camp located in Post Mills, Vermont (20 minutes from Dartmouth College) and we are currently hiring activity instructors & cabin counselors for the summer of 2025.
Our swimming instructors and lifeguards work with girls ages 7-15 to help share a love of the water and ensure safety on the waterfront. Located on beautiful Lake Fairlee, Camp Lochearn offers Swimming (beginner and competitive), Water Zumba, Canoeing/Kayaking, Paddleboarding, Diving, Sailing, and more. Training/Certification will be provided to our lifeguard counselors during Orientation.

Camp Photographer
Do you have a passion for photography and working with kids? Are you interested in spending your summer in beautiful Vermont? Camp Lochearn for Girls is a residential summer camp located in Post Mills, Vermont (20 minutes from Dartmouth College) and we are currently hiring activity instructors & cabin counselors for the summer of 2025.
Our camp photographers are responsible for photographing activities and events each day. Periodically throughout the day, they spend time in their office sorting and editing photos, but are out in camp with the campers and other staff members most of the day. In the evenings, they are responsible for uploading 300 - 500 of the daily photos to our database to be viewed by the parents of campers.

Office Assistant

We are currently hiring office assistants for the summer of 2025 and are willing to work with prospective staff to gain internship credit for school (business, communication, education, etc). Our office assistants are responsible for numerous daily tasks and special projects, including handling mail each day, managing and delivering information (schedule changes, special trips, etc.) to counselors and other staff, working with the nurses to organize out-of-camp trips, and working with counselors for cabin nights, special events and evening programs, and tasks pertaining to daily camper activities/classes.

Ski Boat Driver
LOOKING FOR A SUMMER JOB?

Camp Lochearn for Girls is a residential summer camp located in Post Mills, Vermont (20 minutes from Dartmouth College) and we are currently hiring activity instructors & cabin counselors for the summer of 2025.
What better way to spend the summer than on the water with a mountain landscape in the background? Our ski boat drivers drive our ski boats for 4 - 5 periods per day, as well as a "free choice" period in the afternoon. They assist in teaching both skiing and wakeboarding and help with our end-of-session ski show, which highlights campers from each ski class. The boat drivers will be trained during orientation to learn the lay of the lake and to fine-tune their boat driving skills.

Van Driver

Our van drivers play a crucial role in and out of camp. They are responsible for running shuttles for staff on their days off, as well as running errands in town. They also assist in some miscellaneous special trips throughout the summer. Van drivers must be 21 years of age and have a clean driving record.
