Office Secretary
We are seeking diligent, responsible and hardworking candidates to work in our summer office as a Secretary!
Candidate must be willing to relocate to camp for the summer and would live in staff housing (private room) with other administrative and camp staff.
Requirements
- Ideal position for a current college student
- Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office
- Comfortable driving a 7-passenger van
- Organized and able to multitask
- Available from June 6th - Aug 10th
Adventure Instructor / Bunk Counselor
Horseback Riding (English), Mountain Bike, Archery, and Ninja Warrior!
Our Adventure programs provide campers with instruction and experience in Mtn Bike, Riding, Ninja and our high/low Ropes Course. Campers receive instruction in the relevant rules, skills, techniques, and strategies. Instruction is provided for girls of all ages and experiences. We provide instruction to small groups of campers organized according to age and skill level.
Athletics Coach / Bunk Counselor
Lacrosse, Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis, Bowling and more!
Our Athletics program provides campers with instruction in the relevant rules, skills, competition techniques, and strategies. Playing experience is provided for girls of all ages. Campers can play in daily games and activities or on our elective inter-camp sports teams. And, this summer, we're introducing our brand new Bowling Alley, Lakeside Lanes!
Arts Instructor / Bunk Counselor
Ceramics, Metalsmithing, Painting, Drawing, Sewing, and Glass!
Campers at Matoaka are encouraged to work with a wide variety of media to produce various arts and crafts projects that encourage self-confidence and improve skill coordination. Each instructor in the department is skilled in design, each offering different expertise. It is important to encourage the girls to pursue challenging, creative ideas in order to build on artistic talents that all children possess. The girls work on numerous projects during the summer, including techniques drawing, painting, sculpting, jewelry, mosaic, stained glass, collage, printmaking, and tie dying.
