Coaches will spend, on average, 3-4 hours per day on the courts and also have cabin counselor duties.
Daily lessons should focus on skill-building drills, including ground strokes, volleys, and serves. Fun and friendly competitions are encouraged as well.
Campers come to lessons by age group and each session lasts about one hour.
Must have past competitive playing experience. Some prior coaching is preferred but not required.
Compensation begins with an age-based salary and travel allowance, with additional bonuses available based on background and expertise.

At Somerset, we believe in the remarkable positive impact that summer camp has on young minds, and we wholeheartedly encourage our dedicated summer camp counselors to harness their creative abilities, share their unique interests and talents, and embark on personal challenges that parallel those they set for their campers.
Counselors will live with 10-12 girls and work with 2-3 other counselors in their cabin and receive five days off during the summer.
