We are seeking an outstanding housekeeping candidate to come and join our amazing team this year at the Cathedral Valley Inn! We are a small 16 room motel that strives to raise the bar of guest expectations and experiences with every interaction. We are looking for a positive team oriented hardworking, people-loving individual driven by a strong desire to learn and explore. In your free time you will have the opportunity to pursue personal hobbies and passions or just enjoy your time in one of the most beautiful and untouched areas of southern Utah.   

Job Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

• Cleaning guest rooms by stripping and making the beds, gathering and emptying trashes, cleaning mirrors, dusting furniture and fixtures, doing dishes, cleaning the kitchens, cleaning the bathrooms, vacuuming and mopping.
• Replenishing guest rooms with amenities, supplies, and linens as they are needed.
• Inspect rooms for fixtures that are not working properly and make small repairs such as replacing batteries and light bulbs. Report major repairs and maintenance issues that are needed to supervisor.
• replenishing inventory and communicating items that need reordering to supervisor. 
• Compete all laundry everyday by washing, folding, and putting away. Maintain high standards of quality by checking daily for stains or tears and replacing as needed.
•  When it is busy jobs often cross over to ensure that all needed tasks are completed
• Must be courteous and respectful to all guests and address their individual needs by fulfilling requests or communicating requests to the management team. Guests are of the highest importance and must be treated as such.
• Must be able to stand for eight hours straight, and perform strenuous tasks such as lifting 30lbs, bending, kneeling, and squatting.
• Must be able to work directly under management, be courteous and respectful to coworkers, and be self-motivated. 

Qualifications:

*NO J1 or H-2B visa applicants please. You MUST be eligible to legally work in the USA.

• No prior experience necessary.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to follow work patterns consistently.
• Ability to communicate with others effectively.

Pay: $15.00/Hour

Location:

We are located just outside of Capitol Reef National park. 17 miles west of Hanksville and 30 miles east of Torrey in the small community of Caineville. We are remote and reliable transportation is a must. Hanksville a 20 minute drive away and is our nearest town with gas stations, restaurant options and a grocery store.

*Shared fully furnished apartment style housing is available at no cost to employee within walking distance to the motel.
