Job Description
As a member of the Cheley Department of Transportation (CheDOT), you will be responsible for the safe transportation of campers' equipment and campers and upkeep camp facilities. You’ll split your time between driving campers and/or their equipment to trailheads and campsites, assisting with maintenance projects, and helping to keep our campsites pristine. Must have a valid US driver's license. CPR required.

Essential Job Functions:

• Safely transport campers using 15-passenger vans, shuttles, and buses. 

• Deliver equipment to campsites and assist with maintenance needs.

• Support the upkeep of camp facilities, including cleaning, minor repairs, and firewood cutting.

• Work with the Facilities Manager to ensure lodges, porches, and camp areas are well-maintained.

• Assist with the upkeep of camp property.

• Help maintain outpost sites for groups.

Enjoy provided accommodation and delicious meals amidst the breathtaking beauty of Estes Park. Housing arrangements vary based on position and include cozy cabins and shared living spaces, fostering a sense of camaraderie among staff.

Season & Dates
Our summer camp spans multiple programs, welcoming over 1,200 campers annually. Your commitment will be essential until August 10th, with opportunities through October.

Physical Requirements: Must have visual and auditory ability to assess any unsafe environment or hazard. Must be able to load and unload equipment, work long hours, and handle physically demanding tasks.

Salary: The base salary for this position is $14.50/hr. Our goal is to provide around 40 hours per week. $200 per week is deducted from hourly staff for room and board.
