    Learning Vacations

    Program Manager

    $52,000.00 / year
    Denali National Park

    The Program Manager is a full-time year-round position at Denali Education Center. The Program Manger oversees all logistics of DEC’s Alaska-based learning vacation programs. They schedule and coordinate all facets of each program itinerary, including meals, lodging, transportation, and activities. They work with vendors to set pricing/expectations and provide accurate participant information to our partners. They work closely with DEC Directors to ensure mission and core values are centered in our programming. While winter work can be done virtually, the Program Manager is expected to live and work between Talkeetna and Denali Park, Alaska.

    Education

    Talkeetna Educator

    $18.00 / hour
    Denali National Park

    The Talkeetna Educator is a year-round position based at Denali Education Center's Talkeetna Campus. The Talkeetna Educator will report to the Talkeetna Campus Manager and work collaboratively with the DEC Program Director, Youth Program Manager, and Talkeetna Campus Manager to refine existing educational content, develop new programs, and present our suite of youth camps, in-person programming, and virtual programming that resonates with DEC’s mission and goals for educational engagement.

    Day/Learning Vacation Programs

    Lead Field Educator

    $25.00 / hour
    Denali National Park

    The Lead Educator will work closely with the Program Director to ensure DEC’s educational programs and content are accurate, engaging, and meet current best practice educational standards. Throughout the summer, the Lead Educator duties will be split between management, facilitation, and administration. The Lead Educator will help train field educators, provide check-ins and feedback throughout the summer, as well as deliver lectures and guide hikes.

    Learning Vacation Programs

    Program Coordinator

    $19.00 / hour
    Denali National Park

    Program Coordinators act as logistical and customer service liaisons for our Road Scholar learning vacations. They are responsible for preparing for, facilitating and assisting with each of these itineraries. Successful candidates should be positive, detail-oriented and strong communicators. They will work directly with the Program Managers to ensure that all participants have a fun, educational and memorable trip to Alaska.
