Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Retail Cashier to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming for our 2024 Summer Season! As a Retail Cashier you will be responsible for managing all transactions while providing excellent guest service.

Responsibilities
- Greet guests, answer questions, and assist whenever possible
- Process sale with point of sale system and bag merchandise
- Maintain records related to sales
- Routinely stock merchandise and maintain back-stock
- Verify amount of bank at beginning and end of each shift
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or customer service environment preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Accurately handle money and count change
- Courteous and friendly personality
- Ability to delight all guests and team members
- Other duties, as necessary
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand for entire length of shift
- Ability to climb stairs and step stool frequently
- Visual acuity sufficient to distinguish merchandise and operate point-of-sale system

Responsibilities
- Paint, hang, and repair drywall as needed and install shelves, hooks, and closet rods
- Change light bulbs, replace fixtures, open clogged drains, and repair leaks
- Ensure tools and equipment are in working order and keep the maintenance room in neat condition
- Assist with loading or unloading trucks of maintenance parts and supplies
- Must be able to operate a vehicle
- Other maintenance duties, as necessary
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in residential or commercial painting, maintenance and repair required
- Previous experience with commercial interior and exterior painting
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Wiling to work with others when needed and be team oriented
Physical Requirements
- Frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, and kneeling
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Standing and walking 100% of the time
- Must be able to work outside in all types of weather

Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide details on items for sale
- Participate in set-up, opening & closing procedures, arrange inventory, notifies supervisor of any inventory deficiency or shortages
- Ability to place and remove plates, utensils and glassware; Perform duties including scooping ice cream and other physical restaurant tasks.
- Perform clean-up duties in the stand to maintain the quality appearance of the work area, including cleaning equipment
- Remove and return back-stock, as needed
- Properly record all transactions via the point of sale system and processes credit cards or determine correct change for guests
Qualifications
- Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory.
- Effective communication skills; ability to communicate with guests and receive orders
- Delight all guests by providing a friendly, positive experience; sharing your knowledge of Yellowstone and the surrounding areas
- Prior guest-facing experience in a fast paced work environment, preferred
- Perform other duties as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for your entire shift, including walking up and down stairs and lifting as the work duties demand.
