Housekeeper

• Dreamcatcher Tipi Hotel is a luxury glamping experience located in Gardiner, Montana, just 5 miles from the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. The property currently houses 20 large-scale tipis; each interior is uniquely designed with warm heaters, solid foundations, -

• fluffy high-end bedding, and other functional and decorative additions.

A separate bathhouse building exists to serve all guests and tipis. There are currently nine private, full bathrooms complete with modern fixtures and heated floors. Two larger, separate tents house the check-in/retail and dining areas. A centralized, community fire pit sits amidst the property for guests to enjoy in the evenings.

Housekeeping Job Description, Responsibilities, and Requirements

This position entails traditional housekeeping responsibilities (50/50 split) in a small hotel setting, but in a very beautiful and unique location. Ideally, we would like to hire a dynamic individual that can step in and help where needed across the property with a focus on the guest and attention to the important details. The candidate in this position will be trained by, and work alongside, the management team. 

Housekeeper works as part of a small, high-impact team that ultimately supports all facets of the operation of the Dreamcatcher Tipi Hotel and provides the highest possible level of service to its guests. The candidate filling this role is expected to:

• Fully clean and/or refresh tipis daily as part of guest stays and check-outs

• Perform inventory on tipis, cleaning products and laundry

• Assist with laundry services such as gathering for cleaning, organizing and putting clean laundry away

• Assist with bathhouse and bathroom cleaning

• Assist with general cleanup throughout the property

• Prior housekeeping experience is a major plus but not required

• Customer relations within the hospitality industry is a major plus but not required

• Strong interpersonal and communications skills

• Strong work ethic

• Ability to work well as part of a fun and cohesive team 

  Guest Relations & Front Desk Duties, and Requirements    

  This position in the front of the house has more interaction with guests. You will be responsible for many duties including. A positive attitud and ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time.

• Check in or check out arriving and departing guests    

•  Set out and clean up complimentary breakfast for guests

• Run the daily evening campfire and S'mores for guests

• Ring guests up for souvenir purchases in tent

• assigned bathroom cleaning duties

• other duties as assigned by GM/AGM                                                          

Location, Housing, and Term

This position will be based at the Dreamcatcher Tipi Hotel in Gardiner, MT, just five miles from the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. On-site housing accommodations provided at no cost for the right candidate(s). 

The term of this position is seasonal:  April 10th 2025 through October 18, 2024. Flexibility with these dates may be a possibility for the right candidate(s). This is a full-time, 40 hours/week position. Days to arrive early and leave after season ends permitted beyond seasons dates. 

True season dates are May 8th, 2025 through October 10th, 2025.
