Line Cook

Working as part of the Ekwanok Food and Beverage team to ensure that the product, service and facility cleanliness are of the highest quality while delivering the best possible guest experience. The Cooks are responsible and accountable for assisting in the preparation and service of food as directed by the outlet’s supervisor and/or Chef. Cooks are given a station or an assignment to complete and be accountable for maintaining and accomplishing these tasks daily. Assisting with administrative duties may also be included as well. Responsibilities include:

• Adhering to all safety and sanitation procedures and taking the initiative to be familiar with them

• Follow all guidelines regarding opening and closing procedures

• Clean as you go – we clean as much as we cook

• Duties may include prepping cold and hot items and contributing to ware washing duties

• Any other task supervisor/manager deems necessary

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced high-volume environment

• Exceptional communication skills, great attitude, exceptional personal grooming standards

• Guest service and team building abilities

• Knowledge of Vermont Health codes

• Must have a great attitude and be a team player

• Must be organized

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
