Eldora is the backyard winter mountain playground for Greater Denver, Boulder County, and Colorado's northern Front Range. Eldora is located just outside of the charming mountain town of Nederland, Colorado, about 20 miles west of Boulder and less than 50 miles from downtown Denver.

Eldora strives to deliver Colorado’s Front Range the most memorable outdoor adventures to locals and out-of-town visitors.   Eldora Mountain Resort employs up to 700 employees at peak season and has 680 acres of lift-accessible terrain for skiing and snowboarding, including a Woodward Mountain Park experience, and a world class Nordic Center.

As a Maintenance Supervisor at Eldora, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our facilities and grounds property, including our parking lots, operate smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise in building maintenance, combined with your passion for the outdoors, will make you an asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Maintenance Operations: Manage and prioritize maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and compliance with safety standards.

  • Lead and Develop Team: Supervise and train maintenance technicians, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Lead by example and train your team by being boots on the ground in projects with them.

  • Project Management: Coordinate and execute large-scale maintenance projects, from planning to implementation. Manage work orders in our software system and prioritize jobs accordingly.

  • Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, promoting a safe workplace for all employees.

  • Guest Service: Foster positive relationships with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in building maintenance, with a strong background in framing, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and drywall. Basic commercial kitchen appliance repair and HVAC knowledge is a plus but is not required.

  • Knowledge of maintenance, best practices and industry standards.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Proficient in computer software systems for work orders, purchasing, and Microsoft Office Applications.

  • Valid US Driver's License that meets company standards

  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 75 lbs.

  • Physical stamina to work in outdoor conditions and perform tasks that require bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting.

Basic Requirements: 

  • Must be able to lift and carry items up to 75 lbs.

  • Must be organized and proficient with computer software systems for work orders, purchasing and Microsoft Office Applications

  • Must have a valid US Driver’s License and complete an MVR check

  • This position may require the use of a motor vehicle, and the employee is subject to comply with the Driver’s Standards of Eldora

  • High School degree or equivalent

Administration Duties: 

  • Managing and creating work orders through software systems.

  • Working with contractors, obtaining quotes and invoices for accounting reconciliation.

  • Scheduling of staff.

  • Execution and documentation of safety meetings and trainings.

  • Create routine maintenance plans and documents for care of buildings, equipment and property.

Guest Service Duties: 

  • This position is a supervisor role in which the expectation is to uphold positive guest services initiatives both internally and externally.

  • Ensuring excellent vendor or contractor relations and communication takes place through projects

Compensation: ​Proposed hiring rate of $28+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience
