Baker
Accountable for, but not limited to:
- Embracing and representing the FLL Core Values in all situations:
- Works with the Executive Chef to create and execute all baking operations.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure a healthy, efficient and productive work environment for all staff.
- Assist in overseeing baking schedules, workflows and staff execution.
- Work with Executive Chef to execute and develop first class meal and service presentations.
- Executes all baked goods for Flathead Lake Lodge operated events, including, but not limited to: Weddings, Concerts, Private Events, Conference Break Outs, Dinner Party’s etc.
- Work with the Executive Chef to control food costs.
- Work with the Executive Chef to manage prep and baking production.
- Reports to the Executive Chef.

Cook
Accountable for, but not limited to:
- Embracing and representing the FLL Core Values in all situations;
- Works with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to execute the daily food service needs of FLL.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report and follow Executive or Sous Chef’s instructions
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Willingness to help in other departments or wherever needed on the Ranch.
- Must be capable of being on your feet for up to 8 hours a day, as well as lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- This position reports to the Executive Chef
Dining Room Server
Accountable for, but not limited to:
- Embracing and representing the FLL Core Values in all situations;
- Responsible for the operations of the dining room and Front of House guest experience in regard to all facets of the food and beverage service. Including, but not limited to, main dining room, kid’s dining room, lunch deck, pavilion dining area, screened-in porch dining area, and history room dining area.
- Works with Dining Room Manager to relay the best service possible while meeting the guests’ dining needs
- Is responsible for the cleanliness, set up, tear down and general presentation of all food and beverage operations
- Works with Dining Room Mgr. to execute desired service style for breakfast, lunch and dinner
- Works with guest to assists with special orders, dietary needs and allergy issues
- Responsible for set up, service and clearing of all meals
- Responsible for portraying a first-class service and hospitality experience in a genuine western setting while adhering to dining room dress code policies
- Works with the kitchen to mitigate and best solve any potential guest issues in the best interest of the guest
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks (i.e., taking out the garbage, mopping, dishes, etc.) in the dining areas
- Must be capable of being on your feet for up to 8 hours a day, as well as lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- This position reports to the Front of House Manager
Dishwasher/ Prep Cook
Accountable for, but not limited to:
- Embracing and representing the FLL Core Values in all situations;
- Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and send through dish machine.
- Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas.
- Change dishwater in dish machine every hour.
- Wash pots, pans and trays by hand.
- Remove trash and garbage to dumpster.
- Set up or break down dishwashing area.
- Clean and roll/unroll mats.
- Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions.
- Sweep/mop floors.
- Maintain and clean dish machine.
- Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster.
- Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry.
- Notify manager any time dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures.
- Do not touch dirty dishes before touching clean dishes without washing hands first.
- Works with the Executive Chef & Sous Chefs to execute the daily food service needs of FLL.

Lesson Wrangler
Accountable for, but not limited to:
- Embracing and representing the Flathead Lake Lodge Core Values in all situations;
-Works with Barn manager and Livestock manager to maintain all livestock needs
- Maintains the lawn care, fencing, painting, pasture irrigation and other areas of the Ranch
- Hard worker that understands cowboy values and a strong work ethic
- Facilitate all lessons, assist with trail rides when the arena is unusable and participate in arena activities
- Works with Barn Manager to maintain the safest barn and ranch environment possible.
- Curates a fun and family friendly horse program, including small children
- Works with Barn Manager and Lead Wrangler to keep all riding programs on schedule
- Maintains a positive and professional approach with fellow staff and guests
- Will to help in other departments or wherever needed on the Ranch
- Responsible for keeping constant radio contact and following ranch radio etiquette.
- Always Portraying the cowboy image and western style
- Must be capable of being on your feet for up to 8 hours a day, as well as lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs.
- This position reports to the Barn Manager
Laundry
Accountable for, but not limited to:
- Embracing and representing the FLL Core Values in all situations;
- Receives and sorts cloths and linens according to fiber, color, and soiled condition
- Operates washers and dryers in accordance with safety standards
- Notifies Maintenance of any repairs needed in a timely fashion
- Coordinate and execute the Guest laundry process
- Folds, wraps or places on hangers, completed laundry
- Maintains laundry room and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
- Makes minor repairs to items, i.e., replace buttons, mend torn clothes and linens
- Help with Housekeeping as needed, especially during the shoulder seasons
- Performs related work as required such as water landscaping, dishes, cleaning fleet cars, etc.
- Works with Service Team Manager to provide clean, fresh linens and housekeeping services to Guests
- Must be capable of being on your feet for up to 8 hours a day, as well as lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs.
- This position reports to the Service Team Manager
Mountain Biking Guide
Accountable for, but not limited to:
- Embracing and representing the FLL Core Values in all situations;
- Developing, managing, and coordinating all guest activities associated with the Mountain biking activities
- Developing new guest activities across Mountain Biking operations at Flathead Lake Lodge. Activities that are built on Flathead Lake Lodge’s vision, operating principals, and culture
- Knowledgeable on all aspects of the guest experience, ranch history, Bigfork and surrounding area.
- Leading guests of all ages on organized, safe, and informative excursions
- Maintenance of the FLL Mountain Bike fleet
- Outline the Mountain Biking schedule
- Reporting for work ready and with the essential gear needed
- Greeting each guest, brief them on the plans for the activity, fit a bike to them, and transport to trails
- Giving a detailed safety briefing and assess each guest on their ability to participate in the activity
- Safely operating a 15-passenger van on local roads and highways – MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD
- Provides only first-class service and hospitality in helping all guests.
- Perform other duties as assigned

Service Team
Accountable for, but not limited to:
- Embracing and representing the FLL Core Values in all situations;
- Execution of daily housekeeping tasks
- Daily upkeep and care of all facilities and accommodation’s
- Laundry facilities to ensure a high quality of supplies and guest services care
- Completing all housekeeping duties including but not limited to: making beds, vacuuming, dusting, mopping sweeping, restocking towels and bedding, cleaning bathrooms etc.
- Performing other ranch duties assigned to Housekeeping such as watering flowers, washing FLL vehicles inside and out, polishing stemware and flatware, recycling, etc.
- Managing linen and amenity supplies within facilities and accommodations and assuring guests are always stocked with the proper and fresh quantities
- Portraying a friendly guest service atmosphere and approach through all aspects of your job
- Performing a first-class level of housekeeping and meeting expectations of exceptionally clean accommodations and facilities
- Maintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Willingness to help in other departments or wherever needed on the Ranch

Sous Chef

Wrangler
