Forest Lake Camp

We are seeking a professional, reliable, and enthusiastic Head Chef to help lead our kitchen staff this summer! Located on 830 acres, Forest Lake Camp is a traditional Brother-Sister camp founded in 1926. Located in the heart of the Adirondacks, we believe in helping each camper and staff member have an unforgettable summer while working hard to achieve their goals and make lasting friendships. 

The Head Chef will report directly to our Executive Chef and will have the opportunity to build culture and lead a Sous Chef and multiple Line Cooks. Cooking for 200+ campers and staff/meal, we are looking for someone who is both passionate about their work and also has experience cooking for large groups (schools, catering services, camps, etc.). 

Our summer camp runs from June 23rd to August 23rd, and we are also a wedding venue. Our wedding season runs from May 1st to June 23rd and then from August 23rd to October 21st. We are looking for someone to help lead up our culinary team both throughout our summer camp and also through our rental seasons. 

This is a demanding job and also an incredibly rewarding one for the right applicant, as there are 240 campers and staff members on this property throughout the summer with ONE and only one goal: have the best summer of our lives.
