- Assist in scheduling the grooming staff according to work load and weather conditions.
- Train equipment operators in all phases of grooming as necessary.
- Maintain and forward operation records, including vehicle and fuel records.

Guest Assistance:
- Provide a warm welcome to all guests arriving at the resort.
- Assist guests with directions, information about ski lifts, trails, resort amenities, and general inquiries.
- Offer help to guests in common areas, such as the Plaza, restaurants, and parking lots, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed.
- Provide information about daily events, entertainment options, and special promotions within the resort.
- Knowledgeable and able to answer questions about all resort offerings including lodging, restaurants and available products.
- Have an understanding of summer operations to help inform guests of our year-round operations.

On-Mountain Support:
- Stationed at designated areas on the mountain to assist guests with trail information, safety guidance, and any other needs.
- Support Ski Patrol to clear pathways between Plaza and First Aid when necessary.

Safety and Awareness:
- Promote safe skiing and snowboarding practices by informing guests about mountain safety protocols and monitoring adherence to resort rules.
- Be aware of weather conditions and communicate any potential hazards or closures to guests.

Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments, including Ski Patrol, Lift Operations, and Guest Services, to ensure a seamless guest experience.

- Communicate guest feedback and concerns to the Mountain Host Supervisor for continuous improvement of services.

- Willing assist in other departments, as needed, and may perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in skiing, snowboarding, and a strong familiarity with mountain environments is required.

- Perform basic maintenance and repair of equipment by following instructions of shop supervisor.

Experienced Grooming Operator (Full-Time Seasonal) Winter 2024/25
SUMMARY

Winter Dispatcher Winter 24/25
SUMMARY
The Winter Dispatcher is responsible for the accurate logging, coordination, and dissemination of current information between the various Mountain Operations Department and other departments as required using telephone, Two-way radio and electronic communication.

Previous dispatch experience preferred.
CPR/First Aid certifications a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
High level of communication with coworkers and resort guests. Greet customers in a congenial manner and answer a variety of questions about ski trails, weather and snow conditions, lift schedules and riding time, and general information about the resort and area. Read and understand manuals, safety signs, machinery control labels, warning placards and indicator panels as printed.
REASONING ABILITY
Requires efficient problem-solving skills. Receives instruction/advice from the Director of Ski Patrol for daily tasks. Needs to take the initiative and go out in the field and perform tasks. High level of independence but keeps the Director of Ski Patrol informed at all times.

Banquets & Events Manager
As a member of the F&B Management Team, the Banquets and Events Manager is instrumental in developing and fulfilling the short/long term goals for the property and executing the F&B philosophy. This position is responsible for creating an atmosphere that will inspire guests and associates to return.
The above goals will be accomplished by the proper implementation, promotion and success of our operations through continual evaluation of the products/services provided while insuring effective training of the service teams as well as makes sure operations are running to standard.
This position will coordinate and oversee all aspects and functions of restaurants, events, and entertainment. A key part of every employee’s job is to serve as a Targhee ambassador, engaging the guest at every opportunity.
Lift Operations Lead
Operates lifts safely and efficiently by assisting guests to use them, performing inspections, safety checks and maintaining loading/unloading areas before opening and throughout the operating day. Ensures guests are seated correctly and safely; slow and stop the lift as needed. Load and unload mountain bikes from lift carriers safely. Scan tickets and passes to verify that all guests have a valid ticket or pass. Interact with guests to provide exceptional guest service and efficient, safe lift riding. A key part of every employee's job is to serve as a Targhee ambassador, engaging the guest at every opportunity.
Mountain Host
SUMMARY
The Mountain Host is a friendly and knowledgeable representative of Grand Targhee Resort, dedicated to providing exceptional guest service. This role involves assisting guests with questions in common areas, on the mountain, and at various points of interest across the resort. The Mountain Host ensures that guests have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience by offering assistance, information, and guidance wherever needed.

Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic
Grand Targhee Resort seeks a hands-on Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. You will assist in servicing and repairing heavy equipment, snowcats, trucks, snowmobiles, small engines, and other equipment. Experience in diesel, gas engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems required. Our fleet of snowcat are on a three-year rotation and our NEW Facility allows you to perform your duties in a work class environment. Pay is dependent upon on experience.
