Trip Counselor

The Grand Western Tour is a 33 day, 10,000 mile road trip that will take you on a luxury motor coach from North Carolina to California and back.  On the Grand Western Tour you will explore iconic landmarks across the country and engage in everything from whitewater rafting, a jeep ride in Arizona, a train ride in Colorado and horseback riding in Idaho. There’s never a dull moment!

We look for enthusiastic counselors at least 22 years old with camp experience who are able to create fun and amazing moments. Our counselors have an unbridled energy that allows them to work long hours with a smile. They also mentor students individually so that every student’s experience is unique. The Grand Western Tour is an experience like no other, and its counselors play an integral part in creating the lifelong friendships and memories that students universally tell us they gain through the Grand Western Tour.

The job starts in Greensboro, North Carolina on June 12 and concludes on July 17 when the tour returns to Greensboro.  While on the tour, all lodging and activities are provided and 2/3 of meals. Lodging consists of double queen rooms shared by two counselors.
