Housekeeper

The Harbour Cottage Inn in Southwest Harbor, ME is looking to hire housekeepers for the 2025 season (May to late October). We are looking for conscientious, hardworking, team members who have a great attitude and want to create an amazing guest experience. Located on Mt. Desert Island in Southwest Harbor, Maine, just a short ways from Acadia National Park, the Harbour Cottage Inn is a charming coastal Maine bed and breakfast. We are a small team that creates amazing guest experiences. Team members will be able to work independently as well as assist wherever is needed. Housing is available.

As a housekeeper you will be daily responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

• Clean, sanitize and disinfect all surfaces in the guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.

• Remove all linens and towels, sort and prepare for laundering.

• Launder all terry products and kitchen linens.

• Prepare guests rooms for arrival (including but not limited to)

  • Make beds

  • Restock all guest amenities

  • Ensure room is properly staged for guest arrival.

• Remove all trash and used amenities

Additionally, there are several days a week that we require assistance with breakfast service in the morning before the housekeeping shift.
