Check in times are busy and fun. During check-in, front desk agents greet guests, give weather briefings, perform weigh in, handle payment details, and tell guests what to do while they are waiting to be called for their flight.
Guests come from all over the world to see Alaska and K2’s flightseeing tours of Denali are one of the major highlights of their trip. Front Desk Agents spend a lot of time with guests during the reservation and check in process. This job requires a lot of guest interaction and is ideal for a people person.

Ramp Agent/Airline Support
As a Ramp Agent your primary task is to fuel airplanes, clean and disinfect aircraft before each flight, load and unload passengers and maintain the ramp as a safe and operable area.
Flight times are busy and fun. Ramp Agents are busy helping guests on and off aircraft, snapping pictures, fueling aircraft, washing windows and helping pilots get the aircraft ready for the next flight departure.
When there are no aircraft loads to prepare or airplanes to fuel there are many other tasks to take care of. Yard work, ramp clean up, assisting the mechanics, and washing airplanes to name a few. These are all part of the day in the life of a Ramp Agent.
Guests come from all over the world to climb, backpack and view Denali and the surrounding area. Climbing season is late April – June. The flight to base camp for mountain climbers is a wonderfully unique trip and getting these groups prepared to fly is something Ramp Agents specialize in. You will work with climbing groups who have lots of experience climbing mountains, but most are not familiar with using a small aircraft to get started. Ramp Agents work closely with these groups to weigh and sort gear for their upcoming expedition.
This job is ideal for someone who likes to spend time outdoors and likes a lot of variety in their day. Don’t worry if you haven’t worked a job like this before, we have training for each aspect of the job.
