You will deliver excellent guest service, meet the guests' needs while following the guidelines of the establishment. 

    • Arrive to work on time, ready to work, dressed in clean uniform, with a neat and clean appearance
    • Prepare beverage orders for guests
    • Restock all supplies
    • Account for all sales on the computer, collect payment & balance daily sales
    • Work with all staff in providing excellent guest service
    • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals
    • Abide by state food service regulations
    • Maintain cleanliness of the Espresso Bar, including wiping down espresso machine, refrigerators, counters & tables, emptying trashcans, vacuuming, etc.
    • Adhere to all company policies & procedures, and safety training

  • Deckhand

You will interact with the guests with the goal of ensuring their safety and providing excellent service for an unforgettable and memorable experience. You will be knowledgeable with the safety equipment and procedures on board, including participating in all safety drills and reviews. You will have a range of duties and responsibilities to include:

    • Learn and perform safe line handling skills under direction of the Captain, Sr Deckhand or Crew Chief
    • Exhibit knowledge of local history, geology and industry
    • Regularly interact with guests regarding safety procedures, tour information, boat information and environmental data
    • Conduct food services, including cooking, preparation, serving and cleaning up
    • Strive to ensure guest’s expectations are exceeded

  • Departure Facilitator

    $17.00 / hour

    Safety, anticipating guest needs, honoring our surroundings and bringing your best every day are the core values we live by in order to provide dynamic guest service at Kenai Fjords Tours. As Departure Facilitator, you will facilitate smooth and timely boat departures by assisting with communication between guests, guest service agents and boat crewmembers. You will be the central point of contact for departures on the dock. You will have a range of duties and responsibilities to include:

    • Work with marine operations staff to ensure that vessel to ensure all departures are fully resourced and staffed
    • Proactively coordinate with guest service agents to ensure that island transfers are efficient
    • Interact with and address any guest questions or concerns on the dock
    • Assist in same day and next day departure preparations

  • CDL Shuttle Driver

    Kenai Fjords Tours
    $23.00 / hour

    / $1000.00 sign on bonus for CDL drivers, $500.00 non-CDL

    Uses company transportation assets to move guests and cargo in a safe, friendly and timely manner.
    Drivers conduct and coordinate basic maintenance on company vehicles and maintain records in
    accordance with U.S. Department of Transportation and company standards

    • Conduct pre and post operation maintenance on assigned vehicle daily. Annotate issues correctly
    • Operate shuttles along assigned routes, reporting changes or challenges to the coordinator
    • Coordinate and communicate with guest service, group coordination and marine staffs to ensure that
      guests receive the best possible service and important information is shared throughout the company
    • Maintains records in accordance with company, state and DOT requirements regarding vehicle
      maintenance, driver activities and traffic incidents
